In June a group of FWC women will meet in Dorset for a weekend introduction to coasteering and kayaking on the stunning Jurassic coast with Jim Oakley Adventures.

DO I HAVE TO BE A FWC MEMBER TO APPLY?
Yes, to apply to participate in this challenge, you have to be a member of FWC. Please use this LINK to read our membership policy. If you are eligible to become a member and have not yet signed up, please sign up HERE prior to applying for the challenge.
HOW WILL PARTICIPANTS BE SELECTED FOR THE CHALLENGE?

What activities will I be doing?
We will explore the rugged beauty of the Dorset coast on tandem kayaks, gaining a different perspective on famous landmarks such as Old Harry Rocks. Then our introduction to coasteering will provide the opportunity to get in the water and swim, climb, jump and visit rarely explored caves, tunnels and plunge pools!
Who is this challenge suitable for?
This weekend is suitable for people with no previous experience, who would like to give these exciting coastal activities a go in a safe, supportive group environment.
You must be confident in being in the water and swimming at least 50m in open water conditions, wearing a wetsuit, helmet and buoyancy aid. Participants must be between 130cm-195cm tall and weigh less than 110kg in order to take part.
CAN I BRING MY DOG ALONG?
Unfortunately we can’t have dogs on FWC challenges.
HOW MUCH WILL THE CHALLENGE COST?
The cost for the weekend is £150. A non-refundable deposit of £75 to secure your place is due within 5 days of being offered the place, with the remaining £75 being due 6 weeks before the challenge.
