Burgh island - open water swim

20 july 2024

In July a group of FWC ladies will swim 1 mile around the iconic Burgh Island in the beautiful South of Devon. This is the third time FWC are returning to Devon to be guided by Coast to Coast Water Safety for an exploratory swim through rocks and gullies.

The event is sure to be an incredible experience, whether this is your first time open water swimming or you are a total pro! This year we have again opted to have a lifeboat in the water with us with 2 extra lifeguards, to enable and encourage those less experienced or confident to take part.
